Giants-Dodgers Rivalry Taken to the Skies Over Chavez Ravine
Now if NY’ers could only learn that LA doesn’t want hear what they have to say about the city either. Why is it that places like SF and NY always feel compelled to give their opinion about LA, yet LA rarely feels compelled pronounce an opinion about those places? Occasionally, there are things LA admires (like the public transit), but LA isn’t constantly scrutinizing and criticizing everything little thing about anywhere else.

I Love LA!
Please keep the dream of LA alive. People from all over the world look to LA as a shining city. One of the few "global" cities in this big world of ours. LA is spoken in the same breath as NYC and London and San Francisco and Las Vegas.
La Habra, a premium neighborhood? I went and looked at the article and clicked the link for La Habra and they were actually referring to La Habra Heights, which is not part of the city of La Habra nor is it in Orange County. La Habra Heights is a very nice area though, although it is quite a drive to any freeways and amenities.
NoHo West: Construction starts on North Hollywood’s huge new mixed use community
Woohoo!!! I Love LA!
It makes me oh so so oh la la happy to see these projects breaking ground. LA is slowing shedding the vacant parking lots and strip malls and replacing them with awesome, desirable developments. What can be better????

Haters: take that short stubby thumb of yours and slowly shove it up your hat!!!
Yes, Santa Monica is part of LA County, of course. But aside from calling Santa Monica a "neighborhood", @disqusted doesn’t clarify what he means by "LA". Is he talking about the county of LA or The City of LA itself? Santa Monica is not a neighborhood of anything, it has neighborhoods. It’s part of the greater Los Angeles milieu of City of LA and neighboring independent municipalities…Beverly Hills, Culver City, Malibu, West Hollywood, etc.

I was talking to a friend of mine, he still has the notion that Echo Park is still bad neighborhood, moreover, that Downtown LA is a ghost town during the night. I am; "Dude this is LA County 2013, NOT 1995." Who must take a trip to LA sometimes from South LA (not as much) to KoreaTown it is not the LA we grew up seeing in the 1990s.
LA Is the Least Affordable Big City in the US For Buying a Home
@LA renaissance: What does LA Have? Most people are working poor? Really that’s what you say?
No, foreign investment is not driving home prices.
What does LA have? LA has great climate, beaches, mountains, amusement parks, skiing, biking, theaters, sports. etc etc. There is high demand to live in LA, especially closer to the coast where most of the high priced housing is.
