Opponents say this project is too far away from the transit hub at Wilshire & Vermont? That’s only two and a half blocks away!
I’d let Beverly Hills have a 60 foot sign if they’d just cooperate with Wilshire Boulevard transit signal priority.
Yup, just checked…they’re in the Greater Wilshire NC district. Not sure why Larchmont NC is crying over something that isn’t even in their district.
and hot zones like Wilshire, Sunset, Pico, Venice, and Jefferson and of course bring the gas tax until we have European-level gas prices

Another thing with these lanes is that they aren’t enforced. Wilshire bus lanes are full of cars even in the restricted case.
I vote for Wilshire/Fairfax if only because that puts delicious Ethiopian food an easy subway ride from my house.
What about the newly opened Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in the old May Co. building on Wilshire Blvd? It’s definitely worth a visit…
