of course lets defend mr. sapir whose building, rented to the mta, is being renovated by the mta at taxpayers expense.
and yes, brown harris stevens is not inncocent of bad behaviour either. but maybe not in this instance. we shall see.
Metro's Subway Recommendations Out: Hello VA, See Ya Crenshaw
@Steveland Harris: If you are referring to the New Jersey subway tunnel money, looks like the governor may be backing down on that after pressure from Obama and the senators from that state (therefore taking the money and building it after all).
Another Superior Ink Flipper Tries for a Nearly $4M Profit
The layout looks pretty amazing. And that killer terrace! Wish the broker posted pics for so that we could see firsthand what a $12M 2-bedroom apt looks like. Maybe I’ll piggyback on an open house tour – if they’ll let me.
Would a Brown Harris Stevens accept this listing if they thought the price was unattainable? Probably not.
Is West Village's Superior Ink No Longer Bulletproof?
The reason that this apartment is still on the market is because it is with some random no-name firm!? Ricbourg needs to get a clue and list it with a company who actually knows how to sell property…..uhhhh, heard of Elliman, Corcoran, Brown Harris, buddy?
Park Slope Condo Critics Ask: Do These Kitchens Suck?
@13, All you need to do is go to the Brown Harris Stevens website to see the units which are in contract. Showing 2 in contract and my broker told me there are contracts out on another 8 units. That’s 10 spoken for unless some of the contracts fall through.
I’ve voted for Cooley in the past as D.A. and he seems pretty decent. He’s certainly got a better chance of being elected AG than Carly Fiorina does of being elected to the US Senate.
But there are 5 months left until the election and Harris is starting with a big advantage - the D next to her name.
Mar Vista Fixer Sells For More Than $1MM in Nutso Bidding War
@Dodd Harris: I love intelligent comments. This is such a great example of the California Ranch built in the 1950’s; intercom, pass through, large sliding glass doors, wood floors. In the 1960’s carpet replaced the wood floors, usually a formal entry and a maids room off the kitchen were added.
PBR Estate, the Hipster Promised Land, Lists For $6.95M
The property was built for Harris Perlstein, who in 1932 had merged his Chicago company, Premier Malt, with Milwaukee’s Pabst brewing company. The PBR moniker for the property by the listing agent just sounds silly. Why not the cite the founder of software company Red Hat also owned it before?
Anthony Bourdain Drops $3.35M On East 94th Street Condo
@Zach Harris: Not really. He got away from the Food network as soon as he could. He wrote about the food world but he has never really been a player. Just a sometimes funny but always dickish guy who got famous.
Is the Lucas Museum Going Back to the Drawing Board?
Harris is like so many of the commenters on here who have never seen an acre of parkland that they would not exchange for a vanity museum. They equate parkland with free building site, just like the mayor and his 50 sheep.
