Inside Seven Harrison, a Just-Launched Conversion From $4.5M
I love Steven Harris’ work but I am not really impressed with. The units look fine the the two floor plans are a bit awkward, especially the south facing one. The rendering of the PH rooftop looks insane though.
Frank Gehry's Broad Beach Borman Residence Asking $57.5MM
@Dodd Harris: Sadly, I have to agree 100%; it may be a Gehry, but it’s dated in a way that’s almost impossible to fix, beyond the decor and right down into the bones of the house…
Glendale's Hot Halloween 'Hood Closed to Outsiders This Year
@Dodd Harris: I have a friend in the Rossmoyne neighborhood of Glendale that probably gives out at least that much candy. And probably 90% of the trick-or-treaters don’t even live in Glendale.
Opulent Chandler Harris Home Sells for More than $3M
Moral of the story: if you want a Chandler Harris mansion without the Buckead price, buy it down in the Historic West End. The West End historic district is the last of Atlanta’s gorgeous 1920s neighborhoods to be revitalized. That is happening now.
Snazzy midcentury post and beam in Silver Lake asking $1.5M
The views are nice, but if you want to live the authentic, at its very best Silver Lake life, I do think most anyone would agree you want an extraordinary Schindler, Neutra, Ain, H.H. Harris, or the like, no?
West Chelsea Gold Rush Redux: High Line Tower Revealed
Seriously?!? Before we even comment on the design, or the lack of, please take a look at those renderings. They were horrible. Who would let them out of the office to begin with?!?! Why would anyone pay for those crap renderings and horrific design. Lee Harris Pomeroy should stick with doing subways station renovation.
This is not a Curbed listing. You must not have read the post. Curbed is making fun of the Brown Harris Stevens listing. THEIR listing is false. Not Curbed. Read before you post.
Cahuenga Pass Shelter for the Deer and the Artists
Nixols: SteveB: The house was designed by Harris for the Blairs in 1939. This is the "first offering since 1955" That would imply that the Blairs sold it in 1955.
It’s a charming house. I hope it lands in the right hands.
Behind the Bluestone at Noho Newbie 41 Bond Street
Definitely some beautifully designed elements. But this is not the Steven Harris quality design it would have been had Adam Gordon developed it. Lots of different ideas going on. An odd blend at times. Weird that the living rooms face the back over mediocre housing, regardless of the southern light. The back landscaping does not look very impressive.
