Crenshaw is a street bustling with people— on foot. Compare that to Westwood Blvd. where much of it is vehicular traffic.

Kind of an ignorant statement to question why Crenshaw Blvd. deserves this upgrade.

Housing projects 1 avenue west and housing projects 1 avenue east and a couple of blocks north.. The only good things are that it is right around the corner from gorgeous Astor Row and a couple blocks from where Neil Patrick Harris bought his place.. The projects just mess it up… get rid of ’em..

@Bob Harris: Agree … it is a beautiful structure – there are FLW influences throughout, the exterior really shows how W’s ‘mayan’ work could transmute – alchemy notwithstanding, I like this place.

There is a confederate gun battery near the wooded area. Some serious Civil War fighting took place near by at the battle of Ezra Church. One of the most interesting graves is that of Joel Chandler Harris. He wrote Uncle Remus. It is a little bit of a old Atlanta hidden gem.

I thought about purchasing a unit at 15 USW, but the Brown Harris Stevens Select sales staff I encountered seemed so unprofessional that I just backed off and walked out. This crew has no respect for people’s time and no misgivings about telling lies straight to your face.

@Dodd Harris: I have a friend in the Rossmoyne neighborhood of Glendale that probably gives out at least that much candy. And probably 90% of the trick-or-treaters don’t even live in Glendale.

@Dodd Harris: Sadly, I have to agree 100%; it may be a Gehry, but it’s dated in a way that’s almost impossible to fix, beyond the decor and right down into the bones of the house…
