The turn-of-the-century warehouse turned condominium at 184 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg is being revamped as the Austin Nichols House, and the property has officially launched sales for some of its 338 condo units.
Recent market reports have revealed that sales on high end luxury apartments are cooling off with the with the supply exceeding the demand. The same can't be said for the mid-market condos though, which are still going strong despite a slowdown in high end units.
The hotel site at 139 Allen Street has been finally been checked out, selling at a bankruptcy auction for $30.75 million. The winners of the bid were Morris Moinian of Fortuna Realty and his investment partner, Morry Kalimian of Elk Investors.
