Finalists chosen for new Silver Lake Reservoir master plan
The Echo Park lake is super nice now, hopefully the reservoir can be as pretty. Needs some flora and fauna. I imagine all the dogs in SL will chase off any ducks however.
Finalists chosen for new Silver Lake Reservoir master plan
Haha all of this is SO getting shut down at that December 4th meeting. Ain’t no NIMBY like a Silverlake (Silver Lake) NIMBY! Think about the migratory birds!!!!
Star Metals Atlanta unveils renderings for $100M, 150-key hotel in West Midtown
1. Cost prohibitive of an astronomical proportion.
2. Circling the Bankhead line wouldn’t provide access to anywhere anyone wants access. Also, it would still be faster to walk 2 miles to midtown or Atlantic Station than it would be to ride a train to Five Points and transfer north to midtown.
This IS in the vicinity of where the Silver Comet / Beltline / PATH projects would come together…and could sustain some type of light rail or streetcar somewhere between 10th and 17th, east from Howell Mill to Peachtree

Many things have been written about the Berkeley Bowl outpost in L.A., 100% of them in the Book of Stuff Nobody Cares About. There’s also a chapter detailing the tens of celebrities in Silver Lake, the "trendiest" neighborhood in the country circa well over a decade ago.

Sorry, I misread
Priority B: Students who reside in The Villages of East Lake
as East Lake, I wasn’t implying it was a surefire bet (as no charter school is). That said, even with lower odds of ending up at Drew, the school options are much better than everywhere except Ansley, and I doubt you’re looking for schools when buying a $400k midtown 2BR condo.

I wouldn’t encourage anyone to bank on Drew as a surefire option. We’re at Parkside with both kids after spending a year at Toomer for pre-K. Despite what you might read on (uselss) sites like Great Schools, Toomer is a lovely school with very engaged faculty and I’d be happy to send my kids there.
