@BobLee: What about those persistent rumors that Target’s coming to 7th+Fig, promising to make the E&Y Plaza garage the city’s most notorious parking clusterf*ck?
I’m glad we’ll finally get a Target that’s walking distance to the subway.
Downtown LAPD Lawn Repairs Tied Up in Insurance Claims
I have a real issue with this. As a home owner I am required to cut back on water and pay higher prices. There are neighbors who have stopped watering due to increases in their bills and those lawns now look like yours but the city feels it is necessary to use our money to make THEIR lawn green. You’re bickering over who pays for sprinklers, who pays for grass. Couldn’t our money be spent better elsewher? Explain Mr. Mayor.

Will Water Shows Make People Want to Go to California Adventure?
@Brandon Lee: TRUTH. it is appalling how many extremely fat people have to get around Disneyland on those motorized carts. i think they should really "disney-ize" them and decorate them like the Wall-E carts; that would make them feel more like part of the entertainment experience.
Will Water Shows Make People Want to Go to California Adventure?
I saw videos of the show, it looks whatever. Now I can’t wait for the Cars portion to open. Disneyland really sucks now since so many people have to drive around in those Wall-E mobiles because everyone is so FAT!
What ya’ll aren’t getting is that MMX plans to make this a condo. In today’s previous post, "With An E" noted that in February MMX filed a tract map application (TT-71263). In order for this to remain a "by right" project and obtain no special discretionary approvals, they have to park the project to LA’s condo codes, which is 2.25 spaces per unit (2 per unit plus .25 visitor) – hence the 42 spaces (should be 43, actually if you round up!). All of the other DT condos have gone through time consuming Zoning Administrator hearings and obtained variances for reduced parking as part of their approvals. While MMX could still do this, it makes it tricky to be under construction on a building that doesn’t meet parking codes – hence they designed it to park at code.
Did Controversial Los Feliz Buyer End Up Pissed at Local Dispensary?
I hate really marijuana smokers, what a bunch of inconsiderate goons. It just goes to show you why the shit will never become legal, and why people are too irresponsible to handle it. So these geniuses are smoking out, and then jumping into their vehicles – GREAT!
Like I said, these people are seedy characters. Brent Poer, if you’re reading this, buy yourself and your wife a gun, and learn how to use it. Trust me, it’s just a matter of time before some drugged out scumbag does a B & E on your home.
If you smoke weed and you don’t like what I wrote you can go F%#@-off!
