Hancock Park is a great neighborhood within the city. Sure you are blocks away from less then desirable areas, but you are still not too far for a quick drive for some Korean BBQ.

With a bicycle you can bike from Palms to Venice, and then Santa Monica in under 12 miles total.

Their are bike lanes all the way to the beach from Venice Blvd too so you don’t have to be too worried..

Besides that lots of Art Galleries in the area, Landmark Theaters & Mall (they have a puppy store now!), and a slew of other places within a short distance to keep yourself occupied.

Agreed on Americana. Was there during the holiday seasons and gosh took a chance to gander at all the condos/apartments and they all seemed empty.

It is definitely overpriced by 30%+. But then again Porsches and Lamborghinis are definitely overpriced as well.

Yay Culver City, now I won’t be ashamed when I tell people I live there.
