Here Are a Bunch of US Marines Raiding Dodger Stadium
A Marine is a Sailor. He serves on Naval Ships. His equipment is purchased from the Naval budget. His paycheck comes from "The Department of the Navy". You are nothing more then a stepchild of the Navy. You don’t have Medics to fix your wounds, you have Naval Corpsmen assigned to your combat mission.
The Army, Air Force and Navy is the only true branches of the U.S. Military. The Coast Guard falls under the Department of the Navy during war time and Department of transportation/Homeland Security during peace time.
The Marines are part of the NAVAL Branch. So to make it clear.. MARINESARESAILORS except they are allowed to dry their feet now and then to join the Army Soldiers in ground combat mission
During the first war with IRAQ (Desert Storm), The Army had the New M1 tank and the foot sailors (Marines) had what?…….OH, they had Vietnam M60A3 tanks because the Naval budget didn’t have enough funds to equip their foot sailors (Marines).
Bizarre Bel Air Compound With Bad Identity Crisis Asks $3.9MM
it’s a lot of house for the price given it’s just down the road from the Bel Air Hotel. Of course it needs a good makeover – probably about $1 million will do it over nicely. I’d do something that walks the line between modern and traditional to marry the original house and the addition. once you take it more neutral and get rid of all the crazy colors it could be great. the kitchen and baths all need to be gutted but it’s Bel Air so you can invest the money and be just fine.
You Have to Make $96,513 to Afford a Cheap House in LA
@Chewie: "Most housing starts out expensive because it is contemporary and incorporates all the latest features. Over time, these buildings are replaced by even newer and more desirable buildings and the old buildings and become relatively affordable." Really? When and where have you seen this happen? Name a neighborhood in LA where the rents and prices of older housing are going down or staying level. If anything, the new housing that’s priced high drags existing housing prices up because more lower and middle income people are vying for less housing on the market. My rent-controlled apartment has no amenities except that it happens to be in America’s hippest ’hood — Silver Lake — and you can bet that if I were to move the landlord would throw some new white paint on the walls, replace the shades and carpet, and double the rent. Even with condos and apartments going up around the neighborhood and in nearby Glendale, he would have no incentive to fluff this place up with air-conditioning, insulation, appliances and 20th century electrical and keep the rent affordable.

She must’ve invested more in plastic surgery than in her house lo these many decades — one hopes. Every room is like a breath of stale great-granny air. A mid-century mausoleum.
