Hint: Where Were These Fashionable Pedestrians in 1937?
Easiest Cornerspotter so far. As most have guessed, it was taken at the intersection of Garfield and Colorado in Pasadena, looking north on Garfield past the extant post office towards City Hall. The handsome bank building on the right was replaced by the hideous multi story Citibank building, and where the photographer stood is now the pedestrian entrance to the Paseo Colorado. None of the changes could be called improvements.
