Wallace Neff's "Authentically Mexican" Millikan House In Pas
This is a really classic Neff hacienda which I have enjoyed on many occasions. For the buyer that wants to return the unfortunate defaced beams, surfaces and other cosmetic elements to the authentic effects that Neff intended this will prove to be an unusual gem. Hopefully the new buyers will connect with folks that offer that type of authentic restoration mindful that we are also living in the 21st century.

Be real folks this home hasn’t sold for many reason and one is it’s over priced. Lower the price a lot more then it will sell, many people don’t care Neff designed the home.

It’s a lovely home and the views are great. You have a view of the mountains which are gorgeous during the winter, a view of Pasadena, and a view of the Rose Bowl which is perfect for the Fourth of July fireworks. Finally, it’s a Wallace Neff, what could be better?

Does anyone know of a Wallace Neff historian I can contact? We found an old listing of our house that says it was designed by WN but can’t find any proof

Paint and proper furnishings and window covering would pretty much whip this wonderful Neff house back in shape. It is so sad that people buy these homes and then try to make them something they are not! The proportions of the rooms do not give the Neff feeling I am used to, could be the photography though.

@guest #37: Actually, India and China– stone from Vermont and Italy is usually too expensive because of labor costs and environmental issues, and Italy has no granite. Even that stuff realtors love to call "Carrera" comes from India– They should probably call it "Taj Mahal." And don’t get me started on the tones of Indian multi-colored slate that Home Depot sells every year.
I don’t much like WN’s work in general, but I’d live in this one. Curiously, Neff never seemed to "get" garages as worthy of good design, and this house’s are no exception.
