I saw this beacon and it was pointing right at the Silver Lake house, so I went with that

I don’t think it is realistic to expect any neighborhood directly adjacent to Silver Lake to have much if anything selling for under a million dollars anymore. Unfortunately.

I beg to differ….
Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Tarzana, Woodland Hills, Encino, Topanga, Calabasas, Burbank, Valley Village, Toluca Lake, Universal City…. People are willing to pay a lot of money to get themselves into these neighborhoods.

SM Blvd to DTLA roughly following Sunset would connect WeHo to the Silver Lake area as well.

Really cute house with nice features. Anything along the 2 freeway is great and more people are discovering it. It’s amazing how close one can be to everything if just minutes from the 2. And the 210 offers a nice option vs. the 134. People getting priced out of Silver Lake, Los Feliz, and other areas should certainly consider areas like this, Chevy Chase, and surrounding. This house in Chevy Chase would be ideal! Add a pool and worth even more!

It’s a Silver Lake thang….you wouldn’t understand, but I’ll kindly try to help you out. It is fundamentally about the PEOPLE, not the lake per se!

What is so special about Silver Lake? The ugly man made reservoir? It is quite possibly THE most overrated neighborhood in Los Angeles

Beautiful tile work and original details. So much cooler and infinitely more character than that recent soulless Silver Lake one.

Lake Balboa has 4 bed and 2 bath in 1,300sf of living space? Must be some tiny bedrooms.

We should be able to say about ANY local Silver Lake designer that they are one of if not the design voice of their own or other generation. I’m sorry but we simply aren’t seeing the mark of distinction here that would warrant such a statement. A property in Silver Lake at this price point no less really should present more uniqueness and distinction. We expect the best of our community because we know we can be the best and being the best is our duty as one of the nation’s premier beacon neighborhoods.
