I’m not so sure. Measure M passed with 71% of the vote. LA continues to vote to fund transit expansion. Even the community input for the BRT in Eagle Rock was about split between for and against and those tend to skew toward NIMBYs.
I’m sorry but that simply isn’t true. There is a public lot on Caspar that is only one block over from where the Eagle Rock and Colorado Blvd. intersection. I know because I often park there when I meet my girlfriend/Eagle Rock resident for lunch or dinner. Honestly I’ve never had any difficulty finding a parking space in Eagle Rock besides why do you assume there will be a loss of parking spaces? Has METRO said there will be a loss?
