One can only dream. Some nice selections this weekend. That Glendale property has potential. The Beachwood Canyon home hurts my eyes on the outside but isn’t too shabby in the inside. Nice.

I’ve really got to try hard to like any of these this week. There seems to be something off about each one. Anyway, the best value is the Mid-Wilshire contemporary, but the nicest house all around is the Hollywoodland Spanish Colonial pool house

S. Highland Ave.
That’s a lot of house with fantastic amenities for $1.45 million.
I seem to recall an LA Times feature about the remodel. Could be wrong…but sure looks familiar.

I agree, the only thing that doesn’t seem to set right are those slit windows in the front, but not a deal breaker. The back with the stone wall, big sliders and pool look like it should cost twice as much. Just don’t touch that stainless steel on a hot sunny day. Yikes!

Take a look at the street view on Redfin, and you’ll see why it’s priced so "reasonably".
The slit windows serve a function…as the house relates to Highland Avenue.

That bad, huh?
By mrjim1 on 01.25.20 9:23am
Yeap. Extremely bad. The best way to get in and out of that property is with a bike or a helicopter.
By subaruwrx on 01.27.20 10:27am
Ok, KB, how’s that working for you?
By mrjim1 on 01.27.20 11:47am
Lol, the Highland Ave. Freeway during rush hour. That’s terrible and explains the windows and price
By mrjim1 on 01.25.20 9:27am
My two favorites are the one in Pacific Palisades and the Spanish Colonial house.

Going to the open house is about as close to being able to live in a place like that as I could ever get.

Who is this written for?
