Located on the fringes of Griffith Park, north of Beachwood Canyon, this attractive Mediterranean-style home doesn’t look 93 years old—thanks to some thorough updates.
The house at 2831 Hollyridge Drive was built in 1926, and was part of the old Hollywoodland development. The main two-bedroom residence features a bounty of hillside views from almost every room, but especially the high-ceilinged living room, which also has a white marble fireplace.
The large kitchen holds high-end appliances and a pizza oven, and many rooms open to outdoor spaces and covered patios. The two ample bedrooms are located downstairs from the communal rooms; below that is a smaller level that contains a wine cellar.
Detached from the main house is a guest suite, which has its own private entrance.
The house is listed with Lori Matson of Keller Williams Realty for $2.195 million.

She’s a beauty.
Is it my imagination, or is $2 million the old $1.5 million of two years ago in terms of quality of home for the price?

you don’t get anything worthwhile in the Hollywood Hills for $1.5 anymore. even in nicer areas of the flats it’s not buying much either

Right, but two years ago you could (not something this big, though).

I don’t know where they get 2 bedrooms, the floorplan shows 4 bedrooms. Beautiful old Hollywoodland Mediterranean abode, I wouldn’t change a thing. Love it

The middle bedroom has no bath accessible to it and the far right bedroom is outdoor access.
