Actor, comedian, and podcast pioneer Marc Maron put his well-known Highland Park home on the market this week with an asking price of $749,000.

Built in 1927, the Spanish-style bungalow has two bedrooms and one bath and features hardwood and tile floors, carved archways, casement windows, a decorative fireplace, and a covered porch. While the house itself measures in at a modest 932 square feet, it’s on a sizable lot with multiple decks, patios, and garden areas.

But the property’s most notable feature—recently lauded in the pages of the New York Times Sunday magazine—would have to be its garage, where Maron recorded more than 900 episodes of his acclaimed podcast, WTF, and hosted a pantheon of celebrity guests ranging from Mel Brooks to Barack Obama.

Per the NYT, Maron, his cats, and his podcast have relocated to “a more spacious, two-floor Craftsman home 10 minutes away.”

Lovely home and it looks like it’s priced correctly for the area.

Does it include all the studio recording equipment and related paraphernalia in the garage? That would be awesome.

Very tasteful and comfortable looking house. It seems like it’s priced very reasonably which usually means it will probably sell for more

Obama did a podcast there a few years ago, guaranteed some Demorat will pay $900K Cash for it.

what a lovely hovel.

Where is the covered, off street parking that is supposed to be provided when a garage is converted to another use?

I don’t think it applies if the change isn’t permanent. The fact that it still appears to have a garage door is how they get around it

I’ll go $395,000. But then I would sell it.

I start a go fund me page to buy Marcs house! Please help me out! Sarah this please! https://www.gofundme.com/buy-marc-marons-house
