love the Woodland Hills house but thats way the hell out there and it’s hot as hell in the summer. so i’ll move to Pasadena and sweat out there as well.

Why do you dummies not understand that someone who can afford a house for 879k cannot afford a condo for 879k +963 in HOA fees/month??? Anyone who can afford that place in SaMo can actually buy a 975k house. This isn’t hard, there are calculators on every real estate listings site that you can figure this out from.

There’s no such thing as a 975K house in Santa Monica

I think they meant to say that the SM condo’s equivalent sales price without HOAs would be $975,000, so it shouldn’t be included. Us dummies?

"You dummies" meant the innumerate curbed writers that make these comparison posts. Not the commenters.

I’ve been saying that for the past year, they still don’t get it. A condo for $879k +$963 in HOA fees could afford you a $1-1.2 million dollar home.
