The Downtown News has an update on the two seven story rental buildings that are being built in South Park instead of that failed 43 story Daniel Libeskind tower. Most of the 247 apartments in the LA-Live-adjacent development will front Figueroa as opposed to Flower, there will be a skybridge connecting the two buildings, and it'll have a 252 space garage. Developer Century West Partners plans to break ground in April and open in late 2013. [Downtown News]
