The La Tuna Fire has now surpassed the scope of the Bel Air Fire of 1961, but that blaze destroyed close to 500 homes, including those belonging to Burt Lancaster and Zsa Zsa Gabor.
The station will be the newest stop on the Antelope Valley Line, which link Union Station in Downtown LA and Lancaster, with stops along the way in Glendale, downtown Burbank, Sylmar and San Fernando, and Palmdale.
At 456,000 square feet, it will be the largest location in the country. Nearly twice the size of the old Burbank location, the new store will feature more inventory, extra showroom space, and a larger restaurant.
