Mapping New Development in Warner Center

With the LA City Council scheduled to hear the big Warner Center 2035 Specific Plan in May of this year, we thought it would be a good time to check in with new development currently in planning or under construction in the burgeoning Valley neighborhood. For those who would like to see all the new development in person, it's a good time of year to visit before God switches on the slightly broiled knob on the Valley oven. Village at Westfield Topanga

The Village will feature new retail shops (444,744 s.f.), restaurants (53,635 s.f.), offices (285,000 s.f.), a boutique hotel (275 rooms), and a community/ cultural center, all anchored by a Costco.

The current site of Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, covering 47-acres, is still in early planning stages, last we heard. Per the environmental filing, the propose development could include 6.035 million sq. ft. of mixed use development. More detail is given by The Daily News in the web site link to the right.
