Appearing on KPCC this morning, Councilwoman Janice Hahn spoke of the just-approved LAX expansion, noting: "This airport will not be world-class until we have public transportation that connects to the airport. Part of this plan does include extending the Green Line into the airport and that will be a project that will happen eventually." Gina Marie Lindsay, executive director of LA World Airports, was also on the show and says building of the concourses won't impede traffic or parking for a while. But she said that up-coming reconstruction of the airport's central utility plant (sexy) will soon cause some traffic back-ups.
