A new 220,000 outdoor mall is nearing completion in Long Beach, and developer CenterCal officially announced about 20 new tenants that have signed on to the new retail center, including Urban Outfitters and Sephora.

Called 2nd&PCH, the project will also bring a 45,000-square-foot Whole Foods to its ocean-facing spot along the Alamitos Bay Marina. The development has a look that the official website refers to as “resort-style,” with large covered dining areas and patios, and outdoor “living rooms” featuring WiFi, fire pits, and fountains.

Other tenants are set to include Free People, Shake Shack, Barry’s Bootcamp, Mixt Greens, and The Bungalow.

The outdoor shopping center is scheduled to open this fall.

Designed by Architects Orange and constructed by W.E. O’Neil, 2nd & PCH is one of a number of large projects going up in Long Beach, though most of them are concentrated in and around the downtown area.

2nd & PCH will hold a Whole Foods, an Urban Outfitters, a Free People, a Sephora, and more.
Outdoor gathering spaces will have WiFi, fire pits, and water features.
