On the north side of Mt. Washington, this 745-square-foot house rests in a curve on a windy hillside road.

The one-bedroom, one-bathroom dwelling was built in 1963, but looks more contemporary than that, with a custom kitchen, track lighting, and stainless steel appliances.

The master bedroom is bright and roomy. Between the room and the kitchen is the modern-looking bathroom, which has been tiled in light gray and holds a shower and a tub.

Outside the kitchen, there’s a patio “perfect for outdoor dining,” the listing notes, and a terraced area reached by steps. Alongside the residence is a short driveway and a carport. The front door is off the carport, away from the street.

The house last sold in 2016 for $590,500. It’s now listed for $699,000 with Rob Kallick and Mary Regal of Compass.

The front door comes in off the carport, adding a bit of privacy.

Off the patio, take the steps down to this secluded perch.
