This bungalow above Sunset Boulevard in Echo Park seems to have it all. Built in 1919, the mint-colored residence has a detached studio, a roomy backyard, and 100-year-old charm: built-ins, casement windows, hardwood floors, a fireplace, and a curving accent wall that feels quite Streamline Moderne.

In its 1,072 square feet, it holds two bedrooms and one updated bathroom with vintage flair (there’s an additional three-quarter bath in the studio), a little laundry area, and a formal dining room large enough to host a Thanksgiving dinner. The kitchen has also been updated with stainless steel appliances and blue-green cabinets.

Its position on the bluffs right above Sunset, however, might be a deal breaker for those nervous about earthquakes. Still, it’s walking distance to bars and restaurants, including Mohawk Bend.

Last sold in 2010 for $515,000, the 8,001-square-feet property at 1042 Coronado Terrace is listed now with Alyssa Valentine and Courtney Smith of Compass for $1.099 million.
