What could be better than getting a brand new Panda Painter binder? Staying in an entire room decorated in the style of Lisa Frank.
Hotel booking site Hotels.com has partnered with Lisa Frank and hospitality company Barsala to create a technicolor penthouse in the Fashion District that, for a few brief weeks this month, lucky fans of the brand can rent and stay in.
“We wanted to design a room that celebrates all things ’90s, and nothing screams childhood nostalgia more than these iconic designs,” says Adam Jay, president of Hotels.com.
The penthouse, located in the Fashion District’s Maxfield Lofts, is billed as “a ’90s Kids’ Dream Room.”
The main living space features a hot pink four-poster bed with a light-up canopy outfitted with Lisa Frank bedding, polychrome curtains, and a wall-sized mural featuring some of Frank’s greatest hits—the bear dressed like Elton John, the ballerina bunnies, and, of course, a Golden Retriever.

In the bathroom, the walls are emblazoned with a vivid under-the-sea scene—heart-shaped bubbles, rainbow-colored tropical fish, and two frolicking dolphins inside the shower enclosure.
The Lisa Frank brand rose to prominence in the 1980s and ’90s as purveyors of hyper-bright, animal-centric school supplies, including Trapper Keepers, pencil bags, backpacks, and stickers. (Lisa Frank is a real person and the founder of the company, but the art was drawn by multiple people.)
Stays are available only from October 11 through 27. The cost per night is $199 and the room can only be booked through Hotels.com.
