Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent or buy for a certain dollar amount in various LA ’hoods. We’ve found five rentals within $100 of today’s price, $2,100. Vote for your favorite below.

Starting in Pico-Robertson, we find this this one-bedroom apartment in a midcentury courtyard building. The unit holds granite counters, refinished hardwood floors, new double-paned windows, parking, and on-site laundry. It’s located just around the corner from the Palms Expo Line station. It rents for $2,095.

In Pasadena, not far from the Bungalow Heaven neighborhood, this one-bedroom unit offers the chance to have your own little bungalow. The 650-square-foot residence is one of 12 little houses on this lot. It holds hardwood floors, wood windows, updated counters, its own washer and dryer, and parking. It rents for $2,075.

Who doesn’t love a boldly colored building? This one in Mid-Wilshire holds a vintage, upper-level one-bedroom apartment. The apartment has period tile, hardwood floors, and ample dining space. It comes with a parking space and rents for $2.050.

A few blocks west of the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, we find this two-bedroom apartment with stainless steel appliances, in-unit laundry, and a host of upgrades. The unit has a one-car garage space and rents for $2,000.

Finally, we come to Mid-City, where a two-bedroom apartment near Fairfax and Venice is available. The apartment has wood floors, its own laundry machines, a few cute built-in shelves, and parking. It rents for $2,195.
