A 41-story tower planned for Bunker Hill would bring 570 new condos to Fourth and Figueroa, requiring the demolition of a portion of the World Trade Center on the site now.
New renderings show the project, developed by prominent Koreatown landlord Jamison Services, rising above the intersection and still sporting those pedestrian bridges. The images are part of a presentation to be given Tuesday to the Downtown LA Neighborhood Council, and first noticed by Urbanize LA.
Condos in the project would be mostly one- and two-bedroom units, with a smattering of studios and three-bedroom units. The CallisonRTKL-designed building will have private balconies and lounges for residents. An existing pool area and two tennis courts would be improved and incorporated into the new development.
Existing pedestrian bridges link the site to two neighboring hotels, the Westin Bonaventure and the L.A. Grand Hotel Downtown. Those connections will be maintained even after the new project was built. Widening sidewalks along Fourth and Figueroa is also planned.

Parking for 155 cars would be provided in an existing parking garage.
Jamison bought the World Trade Center complex in 2004 for more than $53 million, the Downtown News reported at the time.
In recent years, Jamison, once the largest office property owner in LA, has shifted its gaze toward residential developments.
In Koreatown, the company has multiple housing projects in the works. In South Park, Jamison partnered with Hankey Investments on the recently completed dual-towered project, Circa.
