Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent or buy for a certain dollar amount in various LA ‘hoods. We’ve found five rentals within $100 of today’s price, $1,900.

Just east of Vermont on Los Feliz Boulevard, the apartment has hardwood floors and vintage touches, like the sunny yellow tile in the bathroom and the blue and white tile in the kitchen. The 900-square-foot unit has ceiling fans and good light, and it rents for $1,800.

Centrally located in Mid-Wilshire, this remodeled two-bedroom apartment offers two bathrooms, newer carpet, a remodeled kitchen, and parking. The apartment rents for $2,000.

Over in West Hollywood, the one-bedroom up for grabs here is located in a sweet Traditional building near Fairfax and Santa Monica Bouelvard. The apartment offers wood floors, large windows, and a bright kitchen with newer finishes. It rents for $1,995.
