We begin this week’s search in Mid-City with this two-bedroom apartment in a small, four-unit building near Venice Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue. The apartment offers stainless steel appliances, in-unit laundry, wood floors, and a parking spot. It rents for $2,095.

Over the hill in North Hollywood, this rent-controlled two-bedroom apartment is just a 10 minute walk from the neighborhood’s Red and Orange line stations. Located in a courtyard-style apartment complex, the unit has added vintage charm, thanks to hardwood floors and crown molding. The apartment rents for $1,975 and comes with parking.

This Atwater Village unit offers not only two bedrooms but also two bathrooms. Not far from Glendale, the shops and bars on Los Feliz Boulevard, and the Los Angeles River, the 1,000-square-foot apartment comes with bedroom ceiling fans, large bedrooms, a dishwasher, and two side-by-side parking spaces. It rents for $2,050.

Farther east, in Eagle Rock, we find this one-bedroom apartment in a cute duplex. The unit comes with new appliances and a rear deck with room for al-fresco dining. Located just off Eagle Rock and Colorado boulevards, the residence rents for $2,000.

Back in the San Fernando Valley, this two-bedroom apartment in Valley Glen holds gleaming (and original) wood floors, two entrances, and wall-mounted air conditioning. The unit is scheduled to receive new quartz counters too. The apartment comes with parking and rents for $1,995.
