Grey’s Anatomy actress Ellen Pompeo and her husband, music producer Chris Ivery, are ready to part with their 1957 modern in the Cahuenga Pass area of the Hollywood Hills, reports Variety.

The house, designed to be “upside-down,” is arranged so that the main living spaces are on the top floor and the entrance to the house is on the ground floor. Concrete floors and huge floor-to-ceiling windows amplify the nearly 1,900 square feet of the residence.

Stone accents throughout, from the flagstone fireplace to outdoor gathering spaces, like that courtyard fire pit.

The residence’s three bedrooms are split up in the house, with the guest bedrooms on the lower floor and the master bedroom on the upper floor. The master bedroom has an outdoor bathtub and, nearby, an outdoor shower.

The property also includes a pool and spa, as well as lush grounds that lend the house its treehouse feel.

Pompeo and Ivery, whose main residence is in Los Feliz’s posh and gated Laughlin Park neighborhood, bought the angular midcentury house in 2008, paying $1.226 million. The property is now listed for $1.995 million.
