This little two-bedroom home in North Hollywood was constructed in 1940, but is freshly updated with a new paint job, as well as new windows and a new roof.

Interior features of the 822-square-foot residence include hardwood floors, an open kitchen and living area divided by a breakfast bar, a step-down den, and a single remodeled bathroom with a double vanity.

The house sits on a 6,264-square-foot lot with a sizable backyard equipped with a hammock, garden, and meandering patio with plenty of space for outdoor dining. There’s also a grassy front lawn and an attached single-car garage.

Last sold in 2009 for $300,000, the house is now asking $550,000. Agent Samira Tapia tells Curbed that ice cream sandwiches will be served at open houses scheduled for 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday.
