A proposal to turn a cluster of Echo Park storefronts into a retail and residential complex called Brick Works is shaping up, with marketing materials offering a look at how the commercial part of the new complex would look.
Developer Champion Real Estate Company is planning to redevelop the property at 1485 to 1501 West Sunset Boulevard, turning the A Grocery Warehouse and the one- and two-story buildings on either side of the grocery store, into a dining destination.
The marketing materials, first spotted by The Eastsider, say it would offer spots for up to 10 restaurants.
In March, Champion told Curbed that the plan also includes building residential lofts on the parking lot. This brochure doesn’t include any details on the residential portion of the complex, and the developer hasn’t yet clarified whether that part of the plan has changed.

Champion purchased the site in March for $9.5 million. A timeline has yet to be announced.
