Plenty of pyrotechnics were on display last night in Los Angeles, as fireworks shows—both officially permitted and otherwise—lit up the night sky all across the city.
With dozens of shows spread across thousands of square miles, it’s probably just about impossible to find a vantage point from which to view all the fireworks presentations that the urban area has to offer. Fortunately, we’ve gone ahead and rounded up some of the most spectacular images posted to social media yesterday all around LA.
From the Queen Mary in Long Beach all the way up to the San Fernando Valley, fireworks were visible in nearly every corner of LA. These images, including a time-lapse recorded from the U.S. Bank Tower’s Skyspace viewing deck, show off all the Fourth of July lights you may have missed while concentrating on a fireworks show in another part of town (or maybe just relaxing at home).
