The host of a HGTV show put his touch on the property

This three-bedroom last sold in March for $490,000. After a quick flip, it’s returning to the market for $624,900.

Jessie Rodriguez, a real estate agent, contractor, and co-star/host of HGTV’s Vintage Flip saw the potential of this Spanish-style house located in South LA’s Hyde Park neighborhood, right on the border of Inglewood. He paid $490,000 for the three-bedroom in March, spruced it up, and is putting it back on the market.

The 1,677-square-foot residence is now outfitted with a new kitchen and bathroom (the tile floors were a nice touch). He left some of the wonderful original elements still intact, including the beamed ceilings, stained glass, and hardwood floors, which, unfortunately, do not extend to the bedrooms.

Built in 1936, the home is bright and full of light. The backyard would benefit from landscaping, but there’s plenty of room to work with, as the lot measures 6,167 square feet. The asking price? $624,900.
