Jared Leto sells Cahuenga Pass hideaway for $2.05M

Actor and musician Jared Leto has sold one of his Los Angeles houses for $2.05 million—$51,000 over its $1.999 million asking price, Variety reports.

The Cahuenga Pass pad dates back in 1955 and was once rumored to be the home of comedian Jimmy Durante.

The very private property is hidden from the street by a large wall covered in lush vines.

The rear yard, bordered with tall trees and foliage, is tailor-made for entertaining, with a pool, patio, and plenty of space to move. Adding to the party atmosphere of the house is the onsite recording studio.

The residence’s holds two master bedrooms, including one upstairs that appears to have a balcony overlooking the back yard and pool.

Leto bought the house in 2006, paying $1.65 million. It was on the market briefly last year, also asking $1.999 million.

The Suicide Squad star’s more famous house, a former military film studio that processed movies of nuclear tests, is located in the Laurel Canyon neighborhood. That one he purchased more recently, in 2014, paying $5 million. In 2015, the house was added to the list of the city’s Historic-Cultural Monuments.
