It’s no understatement to call this Hollywood cottage eye-catching: It has appeared in several design magazines—including Domino and Sunsetthanks to the stylish taste of seller Heather Taylor, who once owned a Culver City art gallery with her husband and who now designs table linens and blankets.

Built in 1920, the three-bedroom cottage with a sunny yellow front door boasts vaulted ceilings, rounded doorways, hardwood floors, and large windows.

The house veers from retro to modern in the kitchen with its floral-patterned tile floors and bold wall of blue-paned windows that floods the space with light and offers a fantastic view of the serene backyard garden. The garden is retreat-like and also contains a fire pit and a small, detached home office with inspiring views.

Last sold a decade ago for $1.293 million, the cottage listed nine days ago for $1.795 million and is already accepting back-up offers.
