The cost of owning a condo in Downtown LA is climbing—the midpoint price reached $599,000 in the first quarter of this year, according to a new report. So the $1.8 million listing price of this corner unit might not come as a total shock (though it still might sting).

In addition to its location in one of LA’s trendiest ’hoods, that price buys a decent amount of space for city-living. Coming in at 1,670 square feet, the one-bedroom, two-bath unit also comes with its own private patio that measures almost 500 square feet.

Located in the Arts District's landmarked Biscuit Company Lofts building, it has large windows, high ceilings, and original brick walls that drive home an industrial chic vibe. Other notable features include hardwood floors, custom closets, and bubble lamp "chandeliers" by George Nelson, the designer and American Modernist.

The loft includes one parking space, and the building holds a salt water swimming pool and a shared outdoor entertaining area with a fire pit and barbecue.
