Craig Ferguson sells Malibu beachfront home for $5.95M

The four-bedroom residence is right on the water

Talk show host Craig Ferguson has parted ways with a Malibu home he purchased in 2014, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Located in the exclusive, guard-gated Malibu Cove Colony, the four-bedroom home is so close to the beach that, in listing photos, it looks to almost float on the ocean.(and perhaps it may literally do so if the effects of climate change continue to chip away at California’s coastline).

The shingled residence was constructed in 1971 and offers just over 3,300 square feet of floor space, with ocean-facing balconies on both levels of the home that stretch the length of the house. Other features include floor-to-ceiling windows, built-in shelving, and a white brick living room fireplace. Private beach access is also included.

Ferguson bought the property for $5.6 million in 2014, but listed it only a year later. The house was initially asking $7.195 million, but that price dropped down to a dollar under $6 million in February. The home has now found a buyer for $5.95 million.
