Inside The Hampshire, a new small-lot development in Los Feliz

A new small lot development called The Hampshire opened over the weekend just south of Franklin Avenue on Hampshire Avenue. The development holds six small-lot homes, each holding three bedrooms but ranging in size from 1,725 and 2,041 to square feet.

Since this is Los Feliz, prices are fairly high. They start at $1.069 million.

That buys 3.5 bathrooms, private rooftop decks, oak floors, quartz countertops, and the open concept kitchen/living room/dining area that's all the rage these days. The master suites are the best appointed spaces with large windows, walk-in closets, and private balconies.

The development's location near shops on Vermont likely helped push its walkScore up to 94. For those who don't walk everywhere, the houses each have their own two-car garages.
