The exterior of this condo in Altadena looks like a typical 1950s tract house, and while the building does date to 1956, inside, the unit has been updated in all of the right places.

Hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, and large windows gives the living room an inviting feel. The kitchen—remodeled with quartz counters and stainless steel appliances—opens onto a petite patio, set up now for outdoor entertaining.

The two bedrooms hold large windows, appear to get plenty of sunlight, and are each equipped with a wall of storage in cabinets and closets. The two bathrooms have what appears to be original tile, in light gray and pastel pink.

The nearly 1,300-square-foot condo, which is just a few blocks away from Altadena’s famous Christmas Tree Lane, last sold in 2012 for $290,000, public records show. It’s now listed for $435,000, with HOA fees of $325 per month.
