A Beverly Hills home previously owned by Bewitched actress Agnes Moorehead has sold off-market for “close to its listed price of $18.5 million,” Nourmand and Associates, which handled the sale, announced today.

A few old photos of Moorehead in the house suggest that the Mediterranean-style estate has undergone a hefty amount of alterations since the actress’s day. They’re not entirely great, but there’s still a lot of good material to work with here.

Hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings dot the interiors of the eight-bedroom house, which measures just over 11,700 square feet. It also features private balconies, a dedicated billiards room, and rear courtyard with loggias.

Behind the house, there’s a lighted tennis court, a swimming pool, and patios.

Moorehead moved in during the 1950s and called upon her friend, famed interior designer Tony Duquette, to help her decorate, according to Just Call Me Aggie, a blog started by a distant relative of Moorehead’s.

Duquette, known for fanciful and vividly colored designs, didn’t disappoint, designing a bedroom in “shades of lavender” for Moorehead.

The house has gone on and off the market over the past few years. It sold off-market earlier this year, with public records showing a sale price was $16 million.
