For years, actress Angelina Jolie and ex-husband Brad Pitt lived in a home in Los Feliz’s chic Oaks neighborhood, and now, even though the couple is divorcing, it appears Jolie is staying in the area. Variety hears that the Maleficent actress has made an offer on the gorgeous and historic Cecil B. DeMille estate, about 1 mile away from the home she and Pitt once shared.
The DeMille estate measures 2.1 acres in Los Feliz’s gated Laughlin Park neighborhood, a community with a long history of celebrity occupants from the early days of Hollywood to present.
The property, located on a street named for DeMille, includes a handsome Beaux Arts mansion built in 1913, a pool house, a studio, and a host of gardens. The current sellers gave the six-bedroom, 10-bathroom main residence a thorough, multi-year restoration, according to Town & Country magazine.

Though Variety doesn’t say how much Jolie’s offer was, the estate is listed for $24.95 million. If the DeMille property sells for that much, it will shatter Los Feliz’s sales price record, currently held by an $11-million mansion purchased in 2015 by heiress Lydia Hearst and comedian Chris Hardwick.
Jolie was previously said to be holed up in a beachfront rental in Malibu that cost $95,000 a month.
