In real life, it’s pretty cute

Tucked behind a leafy hedge in Culver City is a sparkling Spanish-style duplex with original hardwood floors and a cute backyard.

The hedge offers privacy, but this pad has not been totally hidden away. Its owners, Adam Sinclair and Michelle Kath, tell Redfin, which has the listing, that it makes a cameo in Call of Duty: Black Ops. “My friend is one of the designers and they made a brick-for-brick replica of our house for the game,” Sinclair said.

Built in 1925, the sun-splashed main unit comes in at three bedrooms. Its charming living room features a brick fireplace, elegant moldings, and built-ins. All of the interiors are painted shades of white, but there is a handsome floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall wood shelf in the kitchen that warms up the space.

The kitchen opens to the backyard with a verdant lawn, fruit trees, and patio.

The second unit holds one bed and one bath with a clawfoot tub. There’s also a detached garage with fashionable barn-style doors; it has been “upgraded and used as an indoor/outdoor entertaining area.”

The property, which measures 6,754 square feet, is listed for $1.898 million.
