Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys fame has parted ways with his comfortable-looking five-bedroom house in a gated equestrian community in Hidden Hills.
The singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, and author purchased the traditional-style house in 2013 for $3.65 million, the Los Angeles Times reported. Carter did a bit of remodeling and found a buyer at $4.075 million.
The house, which was built in 1956, includes hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, balconies, oversized windows and sliding glass doors, and a kitchen that’s been recently upgraded with marble countertops and stainless steel appliances.
The house has five bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms, an open living area, den, game room (with built-in aquarium), and a master suite with a pair of walk-in closets.
The house occupies a lot of more than an acre, which includes a yard with views across the hills and a swimming pool and spa surrounded by a large stone deck.
There’s also a custom-built chicken coop on the premises designed as a miniature version of the house.
Andrew Mortaza of Keller Williams Realty and Marc Shevin of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services represented Carter in the sale.
Curious about what the place looks like? Here’s an appropriately sensuous video tour.
