Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent for a certain dollar amount in various LA 'hoods. We've found five listings within $100 of today's price: $2,900.

↑ Whoa, those are some giant windows inside this Historic Core loft. The apartment has bamboo floors, stainless steel appliances, and in-unit laundry machines. The loft measures about 1,500 square feet. There’s no word about the parking situation. Rent is $2,800.

↑ The barn-like touches in this Arts District loft give it a homey feeling. The 1,630-square-foot apartment has gleaming wood floors, what appears to be a fireplace, and access to on-site laundry. The complex has off-street parking, too. Rent is $2,825.

↑ This one-bedroom in Beverly Grove comes with all the furniture pictured here. The apartment has a great open kitchen and dining area, in-unit laundry, and a lovely full bathroom with black-and-white tile. Rent is $3,000.
