This weekend, with Thanksgiving barely in the rear view mirror, Hollywood will gear up for Christmas. The 86th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade is taking to the streets this Sunday.
The parade starts at 5 p.m. right by the TCL Chinese Theatres, then the U-shaped route heads down Hollywood Boulevard, turns south on Vine, and then doubles back on Sunset Boulevard.
The parade, of course, means that certain parts of the neighborhood are going to become temporary no-parking zones to make room for the holiday cheer.
From 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday, Cherokee Avenue between Hollywood Boulevard and Selma Avenue will be closed for parade goings-on. But beyond street closures, there are plenty of parking restrictions that could affect Hollywood residents.
The following streets will be tow-away and no-stopping zones for periods between Saturday and Monday.
