It’s only been a couple years since Eva Longoria purchased an enormous Laurel Canyon estate from fellow celebrity Tom Cruise, but the actress is now moving on from the two-building compound, reports Variety.
Longoria bought the home for $11.4 million in 2015, and now stands to make a tidy profit if it sells anywhere near its $14 million asking price.
Positioned on nearly three acres above Mulholland Drive, the home offers panoramic views across the hills and down into the San Fernando Valley. The property consists of two houses with a combined seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms. There’s also a detached garage, a pair of studio spaces, and a rustic-looking stone cottage that the listing suggests using for wine tastings.
At the end of a long, gated driveway, the compound is fronted by a moat-like pool crossed over by a bridge near the garage. Large patio spaces offer plenty of outdoor seating and spots to take in the views.
The compound could soon get even larger; the listing notes that permits are pending for a Rios Clementi Hale-designed addition to the property.
Longoria and her husband, José Bastón,recently purchased a new home in Beverly Hills, says Variety. The $13.5 million mansion has more than 11,000 square feet of living space and sits on 1.5 acres.
They also sold a brightly colored home in the Hollywood Hills in August for just under $1.4 million.
The couple’s Laurel Canyon home hit the market earlier this week and is listed by Loren Judd of Coldwell Banker.
