Interior designer Emily Henderson asking $1.03M for her Glendale home

As seen in Good Housekeeping and Domino

Home stylist and TV personality Emily Henderson is the owner of this midcentury residence in Glendale’s Adams Hill neighborhood. Previously featured in publications like Good Housekeeping and Domino, the house has unsurprisingly been expertly staged—showing off its modern elegance and easy livability.

The three-bedroom home features a step-down living room with a pitched ceiling and wall of windows that helps keep much of the residence looking light and airy. An impressive stone fireplace is flanked by built-in bench seating that seems handy for social gatherings (or warming up on a cold Glendale night).

As the listing notes, the home has been outfitted with acaia wood flooring, custom built-ins, and Caesarstone countertops in the sleek eat-in kitchen. The walls in multiple rooms have been adorned with custom wallpaper designs, including a verdant forest scene in the guest bedroom.

If you like the way the home is currently styled, you’re in luck. Henderson notes on her blog that many of the items used in the home’s staging can be purchased along with the residence.

The house’s appeal goes beyond the interiors, though. Built above a two-car garage, the home includes a roomy deck and side yard accessed from the master suite and offering views across the city.

Property records show the home last sold for $638,000. After a thorough renovation, it’s now asking $1.027 million.
