This sun-drenched home in the bohemian enclave of Topanga Canyon was previously owned by Transparent actor Jeffrey Tambor, who, according to Variety, sold it at a loss in 2010 for $1.525 million. Now it’s back with an asking price of $2.3 million.

Surrounded by oak trees and draped in bougainvillea, the wood-clad home is on a private road, and it backs up to Topanga Canyon State Park.

Rustic on the outside, it’s refined and open inside with soaring, angled wood ceilings. The kitchen is outfitted with simple cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and wood and granite countertops. There are five baths and four bedrooms, but we’d rather fall asleep outside in the hammock hanging from the second-story balcony, swaying in the breeze, watching the sun set over the Santa Monica Mountains.
